The Story So Far

Born in Istanbul, Can spent his early childhood between his two grandmothers, who stepped in while his parents weathered financial hardship. Scholarships carried him through his schooling and into a law career, but the corporate world never quite fit.

During a summer in Bodrum he met the managers who would launch his career. His first appearance was a music-video role; his first television part came in Affairs of the Heart (2014); and by 2017, Full Moon had introduced him to audiences around the world.

Beyond acting, Can has been a longstanding advocate for education and the environment. The foundation he leads has supported the building of schools in underprivileged communities across three continents.

His most recent project, Echoes of Tomorrow, is both a film and a social initiative — using storytelling to widen awareness of climate change.
